New Beachwood company act as a designated driver

A new company called "Dryver" is the brainchild of two Solon High School graduates-turned-entrepreneurs, Arthur Simanovsky and Alexa Milkovich, who launched the service just before St. Patrick's Day, based on the premise, "We drive your car, so you don't have to."

Customers can reserve one of 450 drivers to meet up with them and drive their car for them at a rate of $35.00 per hour - with a three-hour minimum - for multiple passengers. So far, the Beachwood-based company has averaged about 10 rides a day, with more generally scheduled on weekends.

"It's a new twist on a transportation service that gives people an affordable alternative to the usual limo or taxi" said Simanovsky, who recently graduated from Miami University with a degree in finance and entrepreneurship.
